I’m Thomas Mann. Or just Thomy. Originally from Germany and nowadays based in Amsterdam.
My journey into training began 19 years ago with a simple goal: to feel stronger and more confident in my own body. Over time, what started as aesthetics evolved into something deeper.
I realised that real progress wasn’t just about how hard I trained — it was about how well everything worked together.
That understanding shaped the way I coach today.
Why I Coach the Way I Do
Earlier in my training journey, I focused heavily on intensity and output. Progress would come — but it wasn’t always stable. Energy fluctuated. Recovery was inconsistent. Life and training sometimes competed with each other.
Through experience, study and reflection, I recognised a pattern: sustainable strength requires integration.
Training, nutrition, recovery, mental wellbeing and lifestyle are interconnected. When they align, progress becomes steadier, clearer and easier to sustain — even in demanding periods.
That insight became the foundation of my Calm & Energy Method.
Professional Foundation
I am certified as a NASM Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, and I am currently expanding my expertise through additional certification in wellness coaching.
Before this, I was working in Marketing in both corporate and start-up environments for 8 years. I'm holding both a university Master degree in Marketing and a Bachelor degree in Business, as well as a diploma in Interior Design.
My work combines evidence-based strength training, intelligent nutrition and recovery-focused programming — structured in a way that reflects the realities of modern professional life.
